The Hewing xChange is a swap and shop experience showcasing local brands and artists. Enjoy a wintry day of sweets, shopping, and swapping as the Hewing Hotel is transformed into a seasonal marketplace with a sustainable twist. 

Step 1) To participate in our swap, bring any new or gently-loved goods that you no longer use to exchange for a new-to-you item. 

 

Suggested items swap include jewelry, accessories, handbags, high-quality clothing items, holiday party items, home accessories, vintage gems, or giftable items that you haven’t quite found use for. These items must be in good condition, clean, and will be vetted for quality before entering swap. Suggested value of $20 or higher. Max ten items. 

 

Step 2) Bring items to the event OR Drop off your items anytime between 4 - 7 pm at the Hewing Hotel on Wednesday 11/29, Thursday 11/30, Friday 12/1, or Sunday morning 12/3. 

 

All swap participants will be entered in a drawing for a free stay at the Hewing and one sauna experience. Extra items will be donated to our partners at Arcs Value Village and FR8 Clothing. 

 

You’ll be provided a ticket for each of your items to exchange for something new to you on December 3rd. Who knows what surprises are in store!

Step 3) Join us on Sunday, December 3rd to shop the swap and use your tickets for new to you items. RSVP below for updates and details on swap drops and prizes for participation.
