About the event
About Designer and Collection:
Peder Cho is a Los Angeles-based Korean designer. He is self-taught. Growing up in the
Midwest, Peder Cho played into the social norm of working the corporate life through being an
accountant. He has since strayed from the traditional path to that of an artist needing to create.
His experimentations led him to Los Angeles to build a community of up-cycling. Peder Cho has
grown a cult-like following for his one-of-a-kind designs.
In his first collection, he crafts the pieces of his community into his Utopia. His debut show
represents the “breaking of the monotony” of corporate life, in turn, “Finding Happiness.”
7PM - Arrivals (invitation only)
8PM - Show with music by Shaun Ross
9PM - Afterparty featuring music by Shaneaveli
Peder Cho's UTOPIA aligns with SDG12 - Responsible Consumption and Production Patterns. The entire collection has been created with upcycled, recycled and deadstock materials.
