This year, we are honored to partner with #capitalpride to help celebrate this year’s incredible #LGBTQ festival in Washington D.C. led by @oceanswarrior with swap geniuses @zsameria of @swapdc and the brilliant @capreceannjackson of @swapacrossamerica and @sustainablefashionweekus ❤️
We welcome you to join us at two incredible events:
June 6th - @busboysandpoets from 8-10PM where you can come and be a super-singing-swapstar and listen to magic makers in the OPEN MIC!
June 12th - @capitalpridedc festival SWAP ALL DAY at the SWAP SHOP! Come join us in the middle of the action with 200k+ people honoring, celebrating and reuniting.
Pride 2022 is an important celebration for our LGBTQ+ community. This years theme “reUNITED” build connections and create positive change in our region, our country, and our world. As the LGBTQ+ once again return to the streets, we will renew the bonds and relationships that have empowered us forward to this point.
“The issues that are critical to our community did not disappear over the last few years, but instead grew and changed and now present us with new challenges. From further anti-LGBTQ+ legislation in this country to the perils faced by members of our international community in places like Ukraine, Turkey, Syria, Afghanistan, Central America, and many others, we must unify as we work on solutions that will move us towards a better world.”
